On Sunday morning, we sat outside for a bit waiting for the turkeys to come back through and I caught this lovely squirrel giving intention and gratitude before they started to eat the seed I put out for them.
Squirrel stopped and went quiet for just a few moments. Contemplating what was there before them and what they would receive from it. It was a sacred act I was privy to witness.
It was a reminder for me to do the same as I started my day.
Intentions are powerful and so is the gratitude we give for the things we receive and give each day. I am honored that Squirrel recognized my offering to them and the rest of my wild forest friends.
