Day 3 Challenge ~ Savoring the Outdoors
Exercising Clairgustance (clear tasting)
Today’s challenge might sound a bit unusual, and I urge caution as you go about it. Always use good judgement. Please don’t go licking things you are not supposed to or chopping on things that might turn you into toads or winged creatures!
Today nature is urging you to taste various natural items such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Remember to ensure they are safe to taste/consume. My suggestion is if you don’t have a garden or land of your own where you know what you are tasting or consuming to try a local farm, farmer’s market, or a friend’s garden with fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Hey, even your local supermarket can provide these items. Just make sure you pay for your items first!
And with that, let’s get started.
As you take your walk outside, select what you want to taste. Savor each item and notice its flavor, texture, and the sensations it creates in your mouth. This will aid in deepening your connection with nature and what she offers as sustenance and taste. The sense of taste is very powerful. Think about the foods that bring back childhood memories. Those are powerful tastebud memories!
Next, start to pay attention to any intuitive tastes or flavors that come to you that you are not physically eating or tasting. Here you will be using your clear taste or clairgustance to gain associations, insights, and messages.
Take time to write down or voice record what you received and how it worked for you. You will want to reflect on your notes once the challenge is over. More about that at the end of the challenge!
Happy Tasting!
